HOW LONG WILL RESEARCH TAKE?

Timeframes can vary depending on the type and scope of the research. Bespoke projects often require more time due to the depth and complexity of the work involved.

When commissioning a project, I’ll provide a clear estimate of lead time based on my current workload. If you have a specific deadline in mind—such as a birthday, anniversary, or presentation date—please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your requirements.

CAN YOU HELP ME FIND BIOLOGICAL FAMILY USING DNA?

Yes, in many cases, I can. By using autosomal DNA testing services such as AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, or others, we can compare your results to those in the database to identify potential biological relatives. From there, I will analyse your DNA matches, interpret the shared DNA segments, and use traditional records to help reconstruct a genetic family tree. Each case is unique in complexity and outcome, but this approach has helped many individuals find answers to long-standing questions.

WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY RESEACH?

​

Before research begins, each client will receive a Client Agreement and brief, outlining the project scope and terms. Once the agreement is signed, a 50% deposit is required—payable via secure website payment or BACS transfer. The remaining balance, including any agreed additional costs, is due upon completion. A detailed invoice will be issued, and payment is expected within 14 days of the invoice date. Research reports will be released upon receipt of full payment.
